You can play on any freeroam map, and do what you want! You can even use mods, since the whole game goes through the host's computer! The camera follows both cars, so it's best that both people drive somewhat close together.
As long as the host plays with a controller, the other person can use the keyboard. It's basically this: The host puts out a stream of the game, but the person watching has full control of the game as well, through an Nvidia app on Google Chrome. I followed what other people said in parts of the internet, and it works! It uses Nvidia's Gameshare function. Here's a video I made to show how to do it:
